The life cycle of salmon has fascinated me since childhood. Spending summers near Redfish Lake in Idaho, I often pondered their long travels and the ability to go from ocean waters to fresh. While painting this I was imagining all the rivers and streams, all the waters that flow together and how deeply connected we are to it.
